Fareham Borough Council has recently installed Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points at Fareham Innovation Centre to further enhance the experience for business occupiers and visitors with electric vehicles.
Two 22kW charging points have been installed, enabling up to four vehicles to charge while at the centre. The cabling has also been laid for an additional two charging points, which can be easily installed if there is an increase in demand.
Having EV charging points at Fareham Innovation Centre not only contributes to the Council’s commitment to become carbon neutral across all our buildings and services, but is befitting of an Innovation Centre of this status. It also makes a direct and positive contribution to Solent Enterprise Zone objectives and, importantly, responds to the needs of businesses at the centre, for both their staff and visitors.
