Fareham Borough Council is delighted to welcome Parco Civil Engineering and Groundworks Ltd to the last available business unit at Faraday Business Park at Daedalus. The unit is the last of four built in October 2021 following a multi-million-pound investment programme by Fareham Borough Council.
Parco Civil Engineering and Groundworks is a civil engineering company specialising in the installation and testing of electric vehicle (EV) charging units. Its team works with retailers, landowners, developers and businesses across the UK to design, plan and install the infrastructure needed for a variety of EV charging solutions.
Parco Civil Engineering and Groundworks have taken the lease for Unit 16, Spitfire Way, at Faraday Businesses Park in order to more than treble its operating space to 1,190 square metres. The units at Faraday were part of a multi-million-pound investment programme by Fareham Borough Council and include special features such as the highest energy performance rating, solar PV panels and, of course, the capability for electric vehicle charging.
Cllr Seán Woodward, Executive Leader of Fareham Borough Council, said: “I am delighted to welcome Parco Civil Engineering and Groundworks to the units at Spitfire Way. They represent yet another business offering green energy solutions, which can only go from strength to strength in the coming years. Faraday has quickly become a hub for businesses offering environmentally conscious energy solutions, with both UPOWA and DFS Composites on the same site. I look forward to watching them all thrive here in Fareham.”
Jamie Allen, Director of Parco Civil Engineering and Groundworks Ltd added: “Parco are delighted to secure these modern premises in the heart of Fareham. It marks a substantial milestone in the growth and development of our business here on the South Coast and how serious our clients are in making a difference. This space will be used as part of everyone’s global responsibility in making this planet a greener place for future generations. The passion we have in building multiple sites on a weekly basis for the vastly growing EV driver is the reason we have taken the tenancy on these premises, and it is ideal for our needs. We look forward to working with Fareham Borough Council in the coming years and hopefully we can get some charging solutions out in the local area soon!”
